I don't know how quick or reliable the postal service is, but I haven't heard anything notorious, so it must be better than Honduras.
I also have a cell phone here, although calling me directly from the States will cost between 50 and 70 cents a minute, so I will not be offended if you don't feel up for it. But the number is:

if you're calling from the States you need to dial 011 before international calls.
Otherwise, e-mail and comments on this blog are probably the cheapest and easiest way to keep in touch with me. Talk to you soon!

Shaun, This has been very frustrating for an old lady. I have tried to type you a quick note now for over 10 min and can't seem to figure out how to send it so..I am asking my 13 yr old for help. So, glad to hear you got there safe. Please be very careful and enjoy every opportunity. Just try not to get any thinner! I am however very jealous of the fresh fruit you will be able to have. Hey Shaun! Glad to hear you are enjoying Belize so far. It all sounds amazing! Things are fine here in VT... lots of snow again! I'm counting down the days until I get to head off on my new adventure (less than two weeks now)!! Hope your first few days of classes are going well! Okay now I know what I need to do. We are getting ready for another snow storm here and as a family of skiers we are happy. Heading north for the long weekend. The skiing this year has been great. How was the first few days of classes? How was the market experence? Hope you are having fun. Megan is psyched to get the larger care packages of brownies while you are away.
